Beet & Amla

What is the best time of day to take Beet & Amla, and can I take it on an empty stomach?

Beetroot naturally contains dietary nitrates, while amla is a natural source of vitamin C and other plant compounds. Taking the drink before breakfast is a convenient way to include these ingredients in your daily routine.

However, everyone’s digestion is different. If you experience acidity, reflux, nausea, or stomach discomfort when consuming acidic foods or drinks on an empty stomach, we recommend taking Beet & Amla with or after a light meal instead.

How Should I Take It?

For a comfortable daily routine:

  • Dilute it: Mix 20–30 ml of Beet & Amla with a glass of room-temperature or lukewarm water.
  • Morning is ideal: Take it around 20–30 minutes before breakfast if it suits your digestion.
  • Start gradually: If you’re trying Beet & Amla for the first time, start with a smaller serving and see how your body responds.
  • Listen to your digestion: If you experience acidity or stomach discomfort, take it after food instead.
  • Avoid taking it immediately before lying down: If you are prone to acid reflux, leave sufficient time between consumption and bedtime.

Who Should Be More Careful?

People who regularly experience acid reflux, gastritis, or a sensitive stomach may find acidic drinks less comfortable on an empty stomach. In such cases, taking Beet & Amla with or after food may be a better option.

If you have a medical condition, take regular medication, or have been advised to follow a specific diet by your healthcare professional, consult them before making Beet & Amla part of your daily routine.

RedRoots recommendation: There is no single “perfect” time for everyone. The best time is the one that fits your routine and feels comfortable for your digestion.
